PakMusic proudly announces the birth of a new musician (Zohaib Kazi) from the city of lights, Karachi.
About Zohaib Kazi:
Zohaib Kazi is a 23 year old music producer based in Karachi, who works mainly in the genre of “ambient South Asia” and “fusion underground”.
It was 2 years ago that he thought by bending the current laws of music and by rearranging the present, heard structure, he would be able to invent a new form of music. Extracting elements from his western influences and blending them with rich eastern formats, he has managed to devise an original form. He has named these new genres as “ambient South Asia”, “fusion underground” and “novella electronica”.
He is an extreme example of experimental creative work ranging from music to anything. “Awaz” would be his debut release on radio and internet.
Ismail ka Urdu Sheher:
It would probably be the first album to be based on the story of a novella.
A novella being written by Zohaib himself. Ismail ka Urdu Sheher (novella) is based on the story of a scientist (Ismail) who dedicates his life towards changing the world through his inventions.
It’s a mix of fantasy, third world, science, science fiction, romance and Zohaib Kazi.
Awaz (Last Radiowave):
The irritating computer generated voice in the beginning of the song is of Stephen Hawking, the mathematician.
Featured Artists on Awaz (The Last Radiowave):
Samra Khan and Jaffer Ali Zaidi
Written, Composed & Produced by:
M Zohaib Kazi
Recorded & Mixed at:
2nd hand street-Creation Station
Communicate:
- Zohaib Kazi

wow. something of real substance after a loooong time. its nice to see someone taking a different direction in what has become a one dimensional industry of recent.
love how the music, although just at a very mellow pace, keeps u interested all the way through, with so many layers and different things going on all the time. its such a piece whereby u have to listen with full intent in order to get maximum gain from the experience.
a fantastic example of how to portray different moods and shades through musical form.
love jaffer's vocals as well. lets see where Zohaib goes from here?
