Ali Azmat's second solo offering is gearing up and it seems he is leaving no stone unturned to make an even bigger impact with Klashnifolk. For his upcoming record, Ali has teamed up with Zeeshan Parwez once again after Zeeshan directed the video of the beautiful song that was 'Teri Parchaiyaan'.
But there is a difference. Last time when Zeeshan and Ali teamed up, Zeeshan made the video on his own without Ali in it since the video was animated.
"It's fun," says Zeeshan while speaking with Instep Today. "We got together at Studio 146 in Karachi and the interesting bit is that the video for 'Gallan' will also feature Omran Shafique, Gumby and Manu Zafar apart from Ali. They make up Ali's studio as well as live band and I wanted to include them and it's been a lot of fun."
Even though Zeeshan refuses to divulge in the storyline of the video, he has said that this will be something that will definitely catch attention.
"Working with all the guys has been fun. I worked with them earlier at Coke Studio so we have a rapport. Ali Azmat can act. He's always had a flair for it so directing him was easy. On the other hand, it was a little difficult for everyone else because I was asking that to react to things and situations that weren't there but in the end, they all did a good job."
Zeeshan is now wrapping up the video and is hoping that it will be finished and ready for airwaves somewhere next month. Meanwhile Ali Azmat has shot another video for 'Sawal', another video off Klashnifolk but that one has been shot in India.
So watch out, Ali is packing up a punch and knowing his unpredictable and edgy character, it'll be one hell of a ride with Klashnifolk!
