Superb song BUT what a rubbish video!!! some of the scenes are very liberal and western. I'm here, living in the U.K, getting concerned

On a more positive note, great song... and i wanted to ask ask if anyone knows when the album is coming out. Najam, on his myspace, has a selection of songs from his new album. This, along with 'only love' and 'chorin na' .. anyone know when the album is coming out? thanks!

rehmanromi will become famous soon enough
If "modernity" is used to point out a problem in a society, I will be ok with it. We should look at the message being sent instead of taking the video negatively. I personally think that the video is good based on the lyrics of the song. People watch unnecessary obscenity in other videos and this one is nothing close.

where as I already know dat the vdo is kinda copy of Runaway love. But in philosophy they say "great people think alike". So one should not say it's copy may be Najam had this idea in his mind while writing and composing this song to make the song on teens issues in our society. the vdo of his other track "mahia" is not yet done; but Najam had mentioned it on his mySpace profile (in one of his blogs) that he has done a song on women's empowerment. so I guess his mentality is to keep a subject in mind while writing the songs or composing them. And remember is among a few singers in world who first write/find words than do compositions. So he is more towards finding good subjects than just doing anything romantic etc like "masti k din aye chalo ghoomay or nachain hum" or something like "dil main meray hai dard-e-disco" bla bla

On the vdo's acceptability i think the vdo depicts the bitter truth of our society. whether it's allowed on paki media or not it's something else but we all know that it's happening in pakistan; specially in our big cities khi lhr isb etc. You know the first principle to solve an issue is recognize and accept that issue does exist. The second principle is start talking about it....and najam has done just that.....if a vdo of atif from race is aired on all paki channels.....which shows raw sex scenes from the movie....why not something bold vdo like this one.....and what about the blue print shot in an internet cafe....that too had become part of broadcasting a few years back....it did helped out making people realize to monitor youth's activities in internet cafés......

we have to start change someday....the women wearing western dresses were not allowed on our media but there is hardly any one who complains about them now.....so we have to start it.....please make your attitudes to this we have to take initiatives to compete the world.....

Album Release
Well the album is released in India by FrankFinn and it would be released in Pakistan by end of April or early may on Fire Record. Besides, Najam is planning to launch the album internationally in every big city LA, Washinton, NY, London, Manchestor, Oslo, etc....the plans are still in discussion with organizers there.....

Najam Sheraz - Khwabon Ke Rishtey.................

I wonder if the real msg of the video is being conveyed to most of ppl......................................
i think "GreenStar Social Marketing" should volunteer for sponsoring the video so that the real msg is properly conveyed

That is

"Do it but safe"
&
"Don't trust but GREENSTAR"

I hope the sponsorship will benefit both Najam Sheraz and Greenstar in order to achiveve their 'real objective' of milking higher profits on investment

I don't think that's exactly what Najam has tried to convey through his video.....it's really weird to react in this. I respect your opinion but this isn't a fair way to telling one's opinion....

I think Najam has really taken a great step by not having a sponsor for his album. It's too risky for his income as well........But only a few artist have the courage to do it. I only remember Hadiqa and Aamir Zaki releasing their Rough Cut with out any sponsor.....otherwise, singers mostly rely on sponsors and fill their CDs with booklets of their sponsors.......

Ludacris' Runaway Love Vs Khwabon Kay Rishtey

Ludacris' Runaway Love's music video is the original one being ripped and recreated by Najam Sheraz & his Indian director as already rightly pointed out by other respected forum members.

Both the concept and execution are almost same...........one can't expect Najam Sheraz to be that uncreative.

I don't know if that is exactly, what is known as "copyright infringement" but am concerned if it comes from Najam Sheraz who always had high moral standards.

And dear Hassanmirani, If you see the original video and then watch the ripped version "Greenstar" perfectly fits in. And about the "courage" theory you might have heard the principle "High Risk - High Return", I feel it explains everything.
(But at the same time i respect your opinion and ur right to express it)

Dear Mzsharif, well I respect your opinion. But Najam has not tried to convey it the way Greenstart is using its campaing.

Secondly, I know that video is matching the Runway love video. you need to increase knowledge. Under the copyrights law, issue based videos are exempted. If the issue is prevalent all over the world and any one adapts the concept, it is not an exploitation of copy right act. So one can adopt the concepts. Secondly, so far as my knowledge is concerned, Najam has intentionally tried to copy the video. He was given this concept and he got inspired to it. Before this one, he had already reject many concepts as he was looking to convey a message and highlight an issue prevalent in our society. that's why he went with this video. Please try to focus the message of the video rather than focusing upon copies and everything.

I think as always Najam has used his music and talent to highlight yet another issue. He began that with In say Nain and yeh baat Kisay Maloom Naheen. So we should appreciate his efforts and spread the work about the issues that he has highlighted through video of Khwabon ke rishtay.

I have already seen Runaway love.......

But pledge everyone to focus the issue than the copy and everything else.......

Dear Hassan! i ll liketo clarify that i never said it was in copyright voilation as u can see that i said
"I don't know if that is exactly, what is known as "copyright infringement" but am concerned if it comes from Najam Sheraz who always had high moral standards."
plz note that i started with " i don't Know".
There can be many possible ways to express the same idea or give a similar msg and that is better known as "creativity". if you compare both videos there seems to be an intense lack of creativity in the reproduced version. Yes najam is not much responsible for that and the burden of responsibility is much more on the Director.
The problem is that the lyrics are too good for the kind of video. The lyrics convey a msg rightly but a bit too much sexed up portrayel in the video actually distort that msg to "Do It But Safe".

(Those were my feelings n everyone has got right to feel otherwise)
