But Pieterson does sound like finest batsman than than Dhoni who is yet to maintain consistent in Test.

Earlier, it used to Youvraj versus Afridi, and Dhoni versus Afridi! Now, both have succeed and moved on new level. Meanwhile, Afridi remains the same and left behind!

Peiterson is by far a better player. He can bat on any surface unlike Dhoni. As for captaincy Dhoni is better of the two though I think Greame Smith is the best captain today.

U people are forgetting the 183 runs of dhoni against sri lanka and 158 against Pakistan......

before england series yuvraj was in a very bad form and now that he scored two centuries back to back he is the star wowwww man..... yuvraj has played more den 200 matches so by now he should perform wid da bat... hes in da team as a specialist batsman.... where as afridi is more of a bowler and he has been performing as a bowler so stop starting another comparison and stop bringing afridi in every single thread

we are talkin about captains here, if yu look at the sides, both england and India have young sides and its upto the captains to take decisions and motivate the players, Dhoni as a captain has done well to motivate younger players and extract performance, look at the T20 world cup instance, he literally captained an 'A' side to victory in teh T20 World Cup and then beat Australia and SL with youngsters too.,

compared to pieterson, even though its early days of his captaincy, he has not been able to do what Dhoni has done.. so as a captain as of now, Dhoni is better, infact, hes the best captain in world cricket at the moment,

Dhoni has a great brain and is a very good captain. Look at the way he suffocated Australia in the 4th Test. But, as Younis Khan said, his luck has been on the good side. Whatever decisions he takes, they work. His real test will come when his luck will not be on his side. Overall, he is a great captain.
As a batsmen, Pieterson has different class.

Tests: AVG of 37
ODIs: AVG of 47

As you can see KP is a much better test player than Dhoni can ever dream of...and the two are basically the same in ODI cricket in terms of stats...though Dhoni's are more inflated by playing on dead wickets. So now STFU and go home!
