Ok I think its time for someone like me to pop up in this section for the first time ever bcoz I just cant resist myself from chkin' out reviews on one of the greatest albums in the Paki music scene.
I have never chk out reviews on any album (believe me), for the first time ever I was forced to do so. I searched on Google for reviews and got the link from there. Thought Im a regular visitor of pakmusic for abt 3 Yrs but have never chked out this section and I apoligise for dat. but I promise I'll try my best to be regular to this section too.
First of all A Big Round of Applause for HIRA and all others who have written reviews on "Be the one". Nice job girlz n guyz. So, everybody out here is appreciating HIRA's work so do I but sorry HIRA I think his album aint that bad as pointed out here. No doubt I've to agree that 'You've got something' is a really mesmerising and tochy song overall but the video is as much disappointing. I dont think Omer needed those Eiffel towers on the girlz head. So i think the video was quite depressing. I really skipped the channel when i first had a glimpse on on of the video scenes, I first heard the song on the IM Music Awards and then listening to the song over an over again is as usual to everyone as to me. About you're experience with the song I think anyone can go through such experiences they just need to listen to 'You've got something'

.
Like you Im a Rock Fan. Evanescence, EP, LP, Marylin Manson, Gorillaz, and the list so goes on and on and on but Unlike you Im not anti-trance kind of person so I like the album too much. Beqaraar is the most favourite to me bcoz of its catchy beat, rhythm. Starting with as u say the X-File kind of mzk (kind of but one of its own kind). It really took off my seat and I started dancing. Altought it is very familiar to 'Ankhoun mein' but still to me 'Beqaraar' is much better. 'Aankhoun mein' i've to agree with your review, being the first song I heard I was really impressed with the approach of Omer. I was never expecting this kind of mzk from Omer , I was expecting some kind of R&B (I think) like Raghav. Anywayz the song to me too catchy and trancy.
'Be the one', it really deserves to be the title song for the album. The sexophone work in all the song was as good as it can be. The Fluit in the song (awsome). Im not a poetry lover so I normally dont listen to Lyrics that much. But must say the overall Punjabi and English touch in the album is really kool.
'Closed Eyes' is acceptable even to me. I dont consider a master blaster.
'Gangster Mix' is truly a kool mixture of some well known sound effects and ofcourse Omer's voice. But I agree where do the lyrics and the mzk link together?
Starting with Saxophone really makes the song worth listening, 'nice touchy song'. Wasn't a list filler to me and that Jazzy touch is really nice.
'Kya hone laga' is a really nice attemp of RAP. I believe this guy is going to make some major difference in our Paki Mzk Scene.
In the end I agree with u with HIRA the album came out a bit sooner but Im not that disappointed on this bcoz afterall 'You've got something' really made me start waiting for the Album.
I know im messing around with things out here so Im leaving now. Guyz dont compare all my comments with HIRA's review. She's as good as anyone could be.
BE HAPPY & KEEP LISTENING TO GOOD MZK
