u know what i have realized. Its pretty touch to come up with playing 11..bare bare players hai like malik, razzaq and alam..jin ke jaga muskil hai..coz u atleast need 5 bowlers: Gul, Ajmal/Kaneria, Rauf, Razzaq, Rauf...i dunno...

there is alot of uncertainty regarding playing XI, what is for sure is salman butt opening the inning, younis khan, misbah ul haq and mohammad yousuf in the middle order and kamran akmal keeping. for second opening slot khurrum manzoor and salman butt will be competing. if malik doesnt get a chance in the opening slot there is still a slot available at no. 6 for grasp but faisal iqbal, fawad alam and abdul razzaq are also competing for that slot. for no.6 fawad alam abdul razzaq and shoaib malik have edge over faisal iqbal as they are all allrounder.

as far as bowling combination is concerned there will be 2 new ball bowlers and one specialist spinner for sure, 4th bowling option is an uncertainty, if the selectors prefers to have both the specialist spinners i.e. danish kaneria and saeed ajmal then abdul razzaq is sure entry at no.6. umer gul is an automatic selection after his excellent form that he displayed in the T20 worldcup. mohammad amir might be the second new ball bowler due to his good variation and nearing 90 Mph pace.

my preferred lineup for first test is;

1 Khurrum manzoor
2 Salman Butt
3 Younis Khan
4 Mohammad Yousuf
5 Misbah Ul Haq
6 Shoaib Malik/Abdul Razzaq
7 Kamran Akmal
8 Abdur Rauf
9 Mohammad Amir
10 Saeed Ajmal
11 Danish Kaneria

This will be the line up most probably...but I would prefer Fawad over Razzaq and play a specialist fast bowler instead of Kaneria.
