I still hadn’t stepped out of the nostalgia that meray haniya and the taptu taptu created and Adeel Steps in with a new video! Well, I have developed a fondness for his sweet and ridiculous songs, but Kissay Awaaz doon has proved me so wrong! Obviously with Shani Haider composing a song, one cannot imagine any thing less than a master piece! The song when I heard it for the first time just took my breath away! So sensitive, so sweet and so gloomy. Oye!! What happened to that pretty girl you were dancing with in the end of the video of Meray Haniya Adeel? Lovely she was but, Girls!! *rolls eyes*

Ok enough of joking around! Let us get down to the chop chop business. I am going to analyse the song first and then the video and then may be a little flirting? Oh no no! what in the world am I saying?? This is not my personal diary! Oh I remember now! I don’t keep one!

Ok Jokes apart. The song is really very nice. It is what I categorize as a “Gasper”. I think my categorizing would need a little explanation. A gasper means, a song that is as amazing as to leave one breathless and gasping for air. Yes the song is that wonderful. I have always been a little critical about Adeel’s vocals being a little weak and way too soft for the songs I have heard him doing. But if one really wants to cover their flaws of the sort up, all u need is an appointment with Shani Haider. The man is a true Maestro. A fiddler of all Genres and an amazing arranger! Composition is simply amazing and has a perfect amount of all related emotions thrown in. Has an airiness, an openness to it. The ascent and descend is perfect, the composition and the music arrangement is so soft that it actually compliments Adeel’s extraordinarily soft vocals and kind of enhance them to perfection of fitting into the most melodic and ultra sensitive song! A perfect mixture. Way to go Adeel. This will have to be the best song in your upcoming and so highly anticipated! Do add more of these types in future. They look much better on u then Bhangra or techno. Seriously! Take my advice. I do not use it anyways!

Coming down to the video. As simple and pretty as the song! After all the techno and animation and unrealistic and unnatural location of “Meray Haniya” “Kissay Aawaz doon” is totally nature oriented video. Simple, beautiful, and without a story board. Which is excellent! The focus is on the beauty of the landscape and the theme of the song that is Loneliness. Ok I have got to say this, loneliness knows me by name or something because this is the second time I am reviewing a video with the same theme. It seems all the hunks in world are so lonely! I keep on asking myself! Hira?? Where the hell are you when all these handsome and sensitive guys are saying “kissay awaaz doon”?? and the answer is. Stranded on the small island of Bahrain! Not for long I say, not for long!
Well then is then, now is now. I better talk about the video more! The video is obviously shot some where in the Northern areas of Pakistan. The place in the video looks strangely very familiar! Oh I can recognize Pakistan anywhere! Is it not strange, that we humans just walk our ways, personalizing it with our presence and never thinking that may be another time someone else will be personalizing it for themselves with the memories of that place. Too much of philosophy I guess. The video and the landscape did this to me! The place is just amazing! Adeel has acted very well. His expressions are very original.
Though the hair was a major draw back! I mean, does one wants to be called Sonic the hedgehog! The hairstyle affected the impact of the video very much. It affected the seriousness of the video! The video lost its impact on the viewer. Honestly, I was watching the video with my dad, him being a big Pop music fan, and he simply pointed out this that “Beta if only his hair were a little more reasonable, the video could have been no less than a master piece!”. It is simply ruining the affect! I am sorry I am a huge hair fan of Adeel’s but my friend it doesn’t work here! Seriously! It doesn’t! and if people say it does then they are lying! Stop listening to them! Rest is up to you.
Serious songs need serious attitude! A grief struck guy with the sense of loss of love would not spend so much time hair colour and pomade on his Hair. Then again celebrities might, who knows? I hope I am getting through here. I do not mean to offend any one! Anyways. Ahsaan has done a great job with the video. It is simple and very natural. No fuss, no extras dancing around, what a relief! Lovely and sweet and really lonely too. Adeels wardrobe is very good. I am in love with his jacket and muffler. Very good choice!
Thumbs up for team Adeel. A job well done guys. An easy one too! I am going the increase the level of my expectations from Adeel after looking at this. Lets just hope adeel is able to keep up with the high standards which he has potential to keep up with!

i still don't know why there hasn't been a lot of feedback from this song. i didn't like adeel's previous song haniya, but this one is so good. one of my best tracks nowadays. out of the recent pak music stuff, this is the best for me.

Hi, for my media studies A level, i have done a practise video of this song, i'm in england and am comming to pakistan next week. I chose this song as it's sooo easy to relate to.
When you get time, please do check it out, I hope the band won't mind me doing this, but seriously, their song is amazing and everyone who has heard it loves this band.

the video was really good...but this was the first time i heard the song...before once wen it was on television...i had the volume low...cuz i was busy...and didnt hear the song...just saw the video...and it kinda looked boring...cuz i didnt know wht the song was about...but after watching the video with the song...its really amazing...i just wonder wen his album is going to come out...this guy is amazing...
