Have you had an awkward moment which left you tongue tied?

I had one similar to the daughter/son one. Once I saw this friend of mine and she had her son with her and I was like "Hey, your daughter is so pretty."
She was like "That's my son but don't worry...I get that a lot. And thank you. " I was like "Ohhh okkk." o_O

It happens with me too and its quite embarassing since u have no good excuse to get you out of that situation lol :$
Khair its not your fault anyway some infant boys are hard to recognize in the first 2-4 months , all babies look the same anyway until they are like 5 months old or something

LOL yeah..its hard to tell a baby's gender at first. But this time it was a 6 year old kid which left me truly tongue tied.
